John,
There’s been a lot going on in the statehouse (and beyond) as the legislative session continues on! And March was certainly another busy month for Governor Holcomb.
He's not just been working with legislators to pass his 2023 Next Level Agenda, but he’s also been promoting it directly to Hoosiers in visits around the state.
Catch up on his agenda and some of what he’s been up to below.

OP-ED: “A child’s education is the key that opens the doors to their dreams, and every child’s success is greatly determined by their parents and educators. That’s why I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished thus far in making unprecedented investments in K-12, and I am committed to continue along the path of prioritizing education and your child’s future. Consistent with that mission, let’s remove barriers and provide students a free education; let’s end the textbook fees that parents pay.”
Help us #TossTheTextbookTax and ensure we live up to the spirit of our constitution’s promise of a tuition-free education.

This month, Oregon-based battery component producer Entek announced that it will invest $1.5 billion to establish a new manufacturing campus in the Vigo County Industrial Park II in Terre Haute! Entek makes battery separators for lithium-ion battery manufacturers across the country.
Here’s what Governor Holcomb had to say about the investment, which will create nearly $650 new high-wage jobs: “ENTEK’s decision to locate a new, $1.5 billion battery component manufacturing facility here will have a transformational impact on the West Central Indiana community and the Hoosier economy for generations to come. This decision cements Indiana’s leadership in the electric vehicle supply chain sector, and we are thrilled to partner with ENTEK to speed the commercialization of U.S.-built EVs.”
