John, I wanted to take a moment to reach out personally and explain why this week will be a defining moment for our campaign. March 31st marks the first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of the new election cycle. As you may remember from last year, this means our campaign has to publicly report all of our internal fundraising data to the FEC. All eyes will be on Northeast Ohio. And because Washington Republicans and political pundits will try to gauge whether our grassroots team has what it takes to bring home another historic victory next November, falling behind on our end-of-quarter fundraising is not an option. To ensure we can post the strongest possible fundraising report, our team has set an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 before Friday at midnight. Is there any amount you can chip in to help us reach our first end-of-quarter goal of the new cycle?
Last November, it was the continuous support of this grassroots team that enabled us to defy the odds and bring home a win for the Birthplace of Champions. Our campaign wasn’t fueled by the right-wing dark-money groups that propped up my opponent – we were powered by hardworking Ohio families who chipped in what they could, when they could, because they believed a better future for Northeast Ohio was possible. Even in the face of $7 million of Republican attacks, we proved that our people-powered team was unstoppable. Now, as MAGA Republicans aim to flip OH-13 to hold on to their fragile Majority, we need to show that we’re up for the challenge once again. But I can’t do that without your help, John. Our first end-of-quarter deadline will be a defining moment for our re-election campaign, so I’m really going to need the support of this team. Will you pitch in $5, $25, or whatever makes sense for you before Friday at midnight?
Thank you so much. I am eternally grateful to have you in this fight with me. Emilia |
