This election will determine the direction of the State Supreme Court, which in turn will determine all kinds of issues like voting rights, gerrymandering — and quite possibly the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. Every single vote matters: the last State Supreme Court race in Wisconsin was decided by fewer than 6,000 votes! Wisconsin is a strict voter ID state. That means all voters need to show an accepted form of photo ID at the polls. Knowing what ID to bring, and how to get one if you don’t have one, can be complicated and confusing.
