Over the next week, you may notice more emails than usual from me and my team – and I wanted to take a moment to explain why.
Friday, March 31st marks our first end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline of the 2024 campaign cycle. This means, after the end of the month, all of our internal fundraising data will become public.
Look, extremist Washington Republicans are already attacking me and targeting our district – so we know they’re going to scrutinize our fundraising report looking for signs of weakness to exploit. Posting a strong first quarter total could not be more important.
This will be a defining moment for our campaign, and I need your help. To ensure we finish the quarter strong, my team set a goal of raising $8,000 online before Friday night. Can I count on you to pitch in to help us reach our first end-of-quarter goal of the new election cycle?
It’s impossible to overstate the importance of this next election. Kevin McCarthy and his MAGA Republican allies have wasted no time using their House Majority to chip away at our fundamental freedoms and reverse the progress we’ve made. And they’ve made it clear they’ll stop at nothing to hold on to power.
I know the 2024 election may seem far off, but to take back the House, defend our district, and deliver for Southwest Ohioans, we have to start building our campaign infrastructure and showcasing the strength of our grassroots team now. And reaching our first end-of-quarter fundraising goal allows us to do just that.
