Power the Vote is launching the Blue Texas
project to fight + fund everywhere!
John,
I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this invitation.
I’ll be joining my friends at Blue Texas for their very first community meeting on March 28 at 7pm CT, over Zoom . (Rescheduled from a prior date due to weather storms!)
To get the invitation, simply join the Blue Texas community [[link removed]] for just $10 or more a month – and when you do, you’ll be supporting Democratic nominees for Texas state legislature and year-round voter protection work.
We’ll be talking about our collective power to make change in Texas, and what’s possible when we join together and fight as one.
I couldn’t be more excited to share a vision of hope and empowerment with champions just like you who are committed to doing that work.
In solidarity,
Michelle Vallejo

---Forwarded message---
John, it’s time we have a talk about Texas.
From the beginning, our campaign was about fighting for our home – but not with anger and animosity. We fought with pride, and passion, and hope, and love.
I am so proud of what we accomplished together, and so grateful for your support.
But this fight is not finished. I am not finished.
I don’t think you are, either.
But you may be asking: Where do we go from here?
If there’s one thing that last year’s election showed me, it’s that we need a plan for change.
The fact is, Texas isn’t going to change overnight, and it won’t happen by accident. It’s going to take sustained work for the long-term to get us there.
I’m committed to doing that work – and that’s why I’m excited to tell you about Blue Texas.
Blue Texas is a community of people like you who are dedicated to leaving no voter, no nominee, and no district behind. Community members give $10 or more a month to support Democratic nominees for Texas state legislature and 24-7-365 voter protection.
Blue Texas fights a Republican strategy that’s fueled by fear and cynicism with the same people-powered vision that drove our campaign: by joining together as a community, lifting everyone up, and protecting everyone’s voice.

Blue Texas is striking back at the myth that our votes, and our voices, do not matter.
This is how we make change in Texas – by empowering voters to speak out and fight for a better Texas.
I hope you’ll join the Blue Texas community [[link removed]] – and when you do, you’ll be invited to join me at the very first Blue Texas community event on March 28 at 7pm CT over Zoom.
We’ll be talking about the change we’re working for in Texas, and how you fit in.
I’m excited to have this conversation, and I hope you’ll join me.
In solidarity,
Michelle Vallejo

We Fund Voter Protection
Republicans have the one-two punch of voter suppression and gerrymandering. Blue Texas is the counterpunch.
We're a community that boosts both a consistent, year-round voter protection army and Democratic nominees for Texas state legislature.
