Gov. Ron DeSantis wants to expand Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill.

Gov. DeSantis is moving towards expanding the controversial law known as the Don’t Say Gay Bill, banning teaching about sex education and gender identity in schools. DeSantis seeks to bar all grades from talking about these subjects, even through senior year of high school.

Ban on importing trophy animals to U.K. to become law

The British government has backed legislation to prevent trophy hunters from importing or bringing back body parts for thousands of species killed abroad. It would encompass nearly 6,000 animals, many of them critically endangered, including polar bears, hippos, leopards, giraffes, elephants, lions, and rhinos.

Dairy milk consumption is at a historic low

A FDA proposal will allow products made out of dairy alternatives to continue using the word "milk" to describe their products, despite backlash from the dairy industry. The industry has stated that using the word "milk" to describe soy, coconut, oats, almonds, and macadamia products could confuse consumers.
