Now, I’m keeping my promises. We are on the offensive in Minnesota to strengthen our democracy. We've been fighting hard to protect voting rights and make our democracy even stronger in the legislature this session - and I’m proud to update you that we've made excellent progress.

We just had the signing ceremony for the new law to restore voting rights to 55,000 people who have left prison behind. Up next, I’m working on:

• automatic voter registration;
• allowing 16- and 17-year-olds to pre-register to vote;
• and protecting voters, election officials, and election workers from intimidation and harassment.

We can accomplish it all this year, but now is when I need your help the most.
