Good morning John,
By now I hope you’ve heard the exciting news that Headwaters is partnering with
the Bush Foundation<[link removed]> to select 2023’s
Bush Prize: Minnesota<[link removed]> winners.
We will start accepting applications from organizations next week on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, so we want to make sure you have all the information about this opportunity.
Here's what you need to know:
Bush Prize: Minnesota winners will receive a grant of up to 25% of the organization’s last fiscal year expenses, up to $500,000. Grants are general operating funds that provide maximum flexibility, allowing winners to move resources where they are needed most to support their work.
Bush Prize: Minnesota winners will be highly valued organizations with a track record of solving problems in their communities. Like all Headwaters grantees, their work will build power and advance justice throughout Minnesota, using inclusive, collaborative and resourceful processes to promote racial and economic equity.
Interested organizations will want to read the full eligibility and criteria guidelines on
our website<[link removed]>. You’ll also want to
register for our upcoming Information Session on April 10th<[link removed]> on Zoom. If you can’t make that time, don’t worry – we’ll be recording the session and posting it to our website. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 5 p.m.
If you have questions about grant criteria, focus, and eligibility, connect with
Ray Martinez,<[link removed]> Program Manager. If your questions are about accessing and navigating our
Grant Portal<[link removed]>, then reach out to Grants Associate
Toni Geurts<[link removed]>.
With gratitude and in solidarity,
