In February, the Supreme Court heard arguments from Republicans seeking to overturn President Biden’s life-changing student loan forgiveness. And the Court could be preparing to strike down Biden’s plan and re-saddle millions of people with up to $20,000 in debt.

Many of the Republicans who are complaining that other people’s loans are being forgiven are the same people who took out PPP loans during the pandemic for their own monetary gain without having to pay back a cent of hundreds of thousands — or even millions — of dollars.

 

Republicans are happy to take government handouts to benefit themselves financially. But they refuse to give hard-working Americans a hand up to help them succeed.

 

Now, they’re taking their hypocrisy to the Supreme Court and a 6-3 conservative supermajority that’s been rallying around the GOP argument.

 

As Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Courts Subcommittee, Hank is fighting to stop the rogue far-right justices from abusing their power.
