When I heard that Nydia's team was throwing her a birthday party, I knew I had to get involved. 

Like many progressive elected officials, I’ve relied on Nydia's support and mentorship. When I first decided to run for the City Council I was the underdog, taking on the establishment, which meant the odds for success were long — until La Luchadora stepped in. 

If you’ve ever campaigned alongside Nydia, you know she gives 110% to every fight. From supporting my campaign to helping build the most diverse City Council in New York history to advocating for funding for tenants and small businesses, she is out there working for us.
