Hey John -

I wanted to make sure you saw the below email because it's important.

On Saturday ACT received a huge influx of donations - declaring almost $1 million from 13 mega donors.

Since then, hundreds of Labour supporters have chipped in to help make sure a few wealthy donors don't sway this election - thank you!

I know not everyone's on their email over the weekend, John, so I've forwarded it below. In case you missed it on Saturday, can you chip in today to help combat $1 million that ACT has just received? <[link removed]>

YES, I'LL CHIP IN <[link removed]>Every single donation, whether it's $10 or $100, help's us compete with the opposition's mega donors and their big money campaign.

Thank you!

Rob Salmond.

P.S. You might also have seen we're running a fantastic Zoom event this evening. It's "Chippies with Chippy!", starting at 7:15, and tickets are still available! It's choose-your-own-price, so If you're keen to hear from Chris, and even ask a question of your own, here's a link for last-minute tickets. <[link removed]>

John -- I was woken this morning to my phone buzzing with some not great news…  <[link removed]>

This election is on a knife edge. The opposition knows it, and they’re going to spend BIG to try to come out on top. With money like that they can bombard social media, billboards and newspapers with negative attacks ads, making it much harder to reach voters with our positive campaign messages.

John, if we don’t act now we’re in real danger of being drowned out.

Can you chip in today to help us combat the $1 million that ACT has just received? <[link removed]>Every single donation, whether it's $10 or $100 will help us to reach New Zealanders with our positive campaign messages.

YES, I'LL CHIP IN <[link removed]>I don’t need to tell you what's at stake here. The only way National can govern is in coalition with ACT. If that happens, ACT would force painful cuts to critical services so they can fund massive tax cuts for their wealthy donors. It’s the last thing this country needs.

ACT and National might have a few mega donors, but we have thousands of passionate and determined Kiwis like you, John. And together we are powerful.

So please chip in what you can today - there’s only one way we win in October - and that’s together. <[link removed]>

Thanks,

Rob Salmond

P.S. Every donation really does make a difference. With thousands of us contributing we can compete with the opposition's big money campaign. Even if you can only donate a small amount, please do give what you can today. <[link removed]>
