Before being elected to Congress in 2018 I was a consumer protection
attorney. I’ve seen how our country is rigged against working people, and
how big corporations can cheat while working people play by the rules and
struggle to get ahead. That’s why I’m so passionate about good oversight.
So passionate in fact, that I put it on my license plate!

paper and what actually happens in people's lives. That wide gap is
