I had to reach out to give you a forewarning: These next five days leading up to our end-of-quarter deadline are going to be the most hectic we’ve had since before the election.

But, I’m asking you not to scroll past the emails you’re about to receive from me and my team – they’re really important.

Raising what we need before the deadline is crucial. So before the chaos of the end-of-quarter kicks in, will you make a contribution of any amount right now?

I know you hear me say that these goals matter – and they do! But let me explain why I’m counting on your support to help us reach this end-of-quarter goal.

The FEC requires that campaigns disclose the amount they raise and spend at the end of each quarter. And not long after, these reports will be made publicly available for anyone to see, including GOP leadership and my Republican opponent.

They’ll be sizing our campaign up based on the amount we raise this quarter. If we show any sign of slowing down, my opponent and the Republican Party will surely think this seat is up for grabs.

We have to get an early start at fundraising if we want to end this quarter in as successful of a position as possible.
