John, on Friday, March 24, powerful tornadoes ripped through Mississippi leaving a 109-mile destruction path. At least 25 people were killed, thousands of homes, churches and neighborhoods were destroyed, and entire towns were left without water and electricity.
Thousands of children and families are in urgent need of food, water, shelter, clothes, toiletries and other assistance. In moments of emergency, children are always among the most at risk. The Children’s Emergency Fund is an essential resource that allows us to respond quickly when crises strike.
