Some Republicans are claiming that Silicon Valley Bank collapsed because… it was too “woke.” 
 
 
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer went on Fox News to blame wokeness for the bank’s failure.
 
 
And then there was this tweet by Donald Trump Jr. We’re not sure what “common sense business practices” he’s referring to here. Perhaps tax evasion, like the Trump Organization was found to have committed? Or maybe stealing money from charities, as the Trump Foundation did?
 
 
Sorry, Junior. But SVB’s collapse had nothing to do with “leftist/woke ideology” and had everything to do with your daddy rolling back banking regulations while he was president.
 
John, Republicans can’t even define “woke,” and now they want to blame “wokeness” for a problem they created!?
 
This is ABSURD, and we need to call the GOP out on their irresponsible scapegoating and completely baseless finger-pointing. Will you rush in a contribution and send a message to MAGA Republicans that they can’t use “wokeness” to cover up their own bad policy?
