A new report by the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is sounding the alarm: Earth is likely going to cross a critical threshold for global warming within the next decade.

If we don’t make an immediate and aggressive shift away from fossil fuels, we won’t be able to avoid the most severe impacts of climate change.
