This isn’t okay.
Last month, we missed our fundraising goal. And now, our grassroots donations have remained sluggish, meaning we’re at serious risk of falling short of our first end-of-quarter goal of 2023.
Our EOQ numbers are absolutely critical as an indicator of how enthusiastic Democrats are for a blue wave or that Republicans are beating us on the money front.
To make matters worse, Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s fundraising has been SKYROCKETING! Following the State of the Union, he broke his own record for the most money raised in a single night, while we continued to lag in fundraising.
If we let this continue, the chaos and danger of the Republican Chaos Caucus will expand and we might not be able to flip the House and stop them. But we’re not giving up. We just set a $100,000 goal for this month AND a limited time, rare 900% match of all donations!

The GOP Majority has been a disaster. They’ve already passed two bills to restrict abortion access nationwide, tried to repeal legislation lowering drug prices for seniors, and threatened to tank the economy unless Congress slashes Social Security and Medicare.
But the frightening reality is that, as long as our grassroots fundraising struggles and Speaker McCarthy’s fundraising soars, our chances of taking back the Majority are slim to none.
In fact, at the rate we’re going, we’re terrified that Republicans could not only expand their House Majority, but also take back the Senate and White House!
Here’s the only good news: We still have time to get back on track. But we need to start by crushing our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
