TL;DR
At MIDNIGHT on March 27 I’ll face my most important fundraising deadline yet — all of my fundraising numbers to this date will go public and I’m still $2,355 short of my goal.
If I’m going to champion small business and bring jobs back to our communities, we must meet every deadline. This is where you come in.
Can I count on you to chip in $25 right now?

John,
52 days ago, I made a commitment to visit 100 small businesses across Philadelphia in the final 100 days of this race — and I haven’t missed a single day — some highlights are below.
I’m going to be a small business champion as your next Mayor, but I have an extremely important deadline coming up in less than 48 hours and I am not where I need to be. I need your help to send a strong and clear message to my opponents:
I’m in this race to win>>

I want my supporters to know that when I make a commitment, I always follow through. I’m having a blast getting to know all the entrepreneurs across our city — and importantly, I’m listening and learning about their needs and concerns.
Being a champion for small businesses requires a deep understanding of how City Hall does and
does not work for its residents. That’s why when I was on City Council I spearheaded the work to make Philadelphia the first city in the nation to charter a public bank to provide loans for entrepreneurs and other financial services in economically distressed neighborhoods.
I’ve always pushed for Philadelphia to lead the country through innovative solutions like this, that serve our communities and bring a positive light to the city we all love.
But as Mayor, I’ll be able to do more and deliver more for Philadelphians. Help me get there with a donation of $25 or any amount>>
Thanks for being on Team Green,
Derek
