We’re down to the wire. We have just a few days left until Friday’s end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, and we still have a long way to go to reach our goal.

To be honest, fundraising is the least favorite part of my job. But it’s a necessary part of the job, because we’re up against a Republican funder network filled with billions of dollars’ worth of dark money working as hard as they can to pass their regressive agenda.

There’s a word for the GOP’s agenda: extreme.

Their budget ideas are a slap in the face to every working family in this country. They bail out their buddies in Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Wall Street.

House Republicans just passed a bill that would propel the far-right movement to ban books and further marginalize LGBTQ youth. (Spoiler alert: no way in hell is this passing the Senate.)

We can’t let them win. We can’t let them take away our rights, our freedoms, and our dignity.
