John, the Trump-packed courts have already tried to stall our climate initiatives, but now? They’re coming for our clean water.

Earlier this month, the GOP passed a House resolution to overturn President Biden’s Clean Water Rule, which would protect wetlands, rivers, and streams under the Clean Water Act.
It was originally introduced to reverse the damages Trump made to environmental protections — but since he managed to pack the courts during his presidency, conservative judges in Idaho and Texas are trying to put this rule on ice until a much-anticipated Supreme Court ruling comes later this year.
Trump and his anti-climate collaborators have already done more than enough damage to our environment, John. But their mission to stall President Biden’s clean water initiatives is a new and inhumane low. This is only a preview of what’s to come, folks. And since Trump managed to pack the Supreme Court with right-wing justices who have exactly zero interest in protecting our climate, we know this fight isn’t going to be a pretty one.
Clean water is a fundamental right, and we refuse to let a small group of hyper-partisan judges try and take that away from us. Chip in to help our Members build their warchest so they’re prepared to handle whatever the courts decide to throw our way.
