The campaign staffer who went there was happy and all, but the rest of us ... not so much. So we’ve come up with a way to keep the March Madness bracket-palooza going strong: Alexandra Hunt’s Policy March Madness! We believe all of Alexandra’s policies matter, and we’re committed to getting them all adopted. But in the interest of March Madness, it’s always fun to see which one would cut down the nets—tournament style. That’s right, you can vote on the policies you’d like to see move on to the next round, and each day until the final there will be a new set of matchups for you to vote on. Think public banking should be the Cinderella story in this tournament? Make sure to vote it through each day. Think divesting from fossil fuels needs to be number one? Then invest your votes! Support Donald Trump back in power? Well, this isn’t the tournament for you, and we should probably have a chat about your priorities. So make sure to go vote now—here are the rounds: Policy Tip Off: March 25 – 26 Elite Eight Policies: March 27 Final Policy Four: March 28 Policy Final Faceoff: March 29 Click here to vote for your favorites every day: PICK YOUR FAVORITES NOW Make sure to come back and vote every day in the only tournament where everyone is a winner. And then make sure to vote for Alexandra on May 16! And if you can pitch in anything to help Alexandra make these policies into law, click here to contribute now: DONATE NOW Sincerely, Team Hunt     Alexandra Hunt is a public health researcher, a girls’ soccer coach, an advocate for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice, and a community organizer. She's the daughter of two teachers and a sister to a twin brother with a learning disability. Seeing the systemic obstacles her brother faced inspired Alexandra to become an advocate and challenge barriers on the basis of race, gender, class, and ability. Now, Alexandra's running to be the Philly's next City Controller because the people in Philly work too hard for too little. And right now, line items in budgets create lines for food and health care. It's time to elect a City Controller who is going to prioritize the needs of the communities Philly's money comes from.
