Dear John, We're not even a quarter of the way into 2023, and we've already reached 100 mass shootings. That's the type of grim milestone you never want to hit, let alone in just over two months. And the truth is, we don't have to live like this. This is a uniquely American problem, because so-called leaders are prioritizing guns over lives — but we're not giving in. Over the summer, we passed the first gun safety law in decades, and just last week, President Biden signed an executive order to help strengthen the existing laws. I'm proud of what we've accomplished so far, but it's clear just how much work there is left to do. Since we can't count on radical Republicans to fight alongside us, we need to vote them out.
