U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report: World likely to surpass 1.5 degrees Celsius warming by early 2030s

John: We are running out of time. U.N. scientists just warned that we’re on a path to blow through the 1.5 C° threshold in the next decade.

When we pass 1.5 C° of warming above pre-industrial levels, the planet will experience climate disasters so extreme that humanity can’t adapt. Famine, drought, heat waves, and other disasters will claim untold lives.
