In our last election, a majority of our city elections were won by Republican candidates. These are the leadership positions that most directly affect your life and your neighbors’. To ensure that the next election brings in the right leaders who will address the issues you care about, we need your help. Before the end of this month and our quarterly financial report, your Connecticut Democratic Party has set the goal of raising $5,000 in grassroots donations to support local candidates up and down the ballot. Will you chip in $100, $50, $35, $15, or as much as you can today? |
What does that mean? Well, with $5,000 we can - - Provide multiple community volunteer training session;
- Drive 5,000 targeted voters to Democratic candidates' websites using social media; or
- Send out 7,500 pieces of campaign literature to swing voters
We could also get this burger, but some of us are vegetarians and we couldn’t figure out how to split it among everybody else. Joking aside, we are committed to bringing about better government for every citizen of our state. |
We at the Democratic Party of Connecticut believe that we are all entitled to great schools, affordable housing, and safe neighborhoods, but we can only move our vision forward with the support of local municipal leaders.
