Social Security Works doesn’t usually get involved in state court races. But over the past few years, it’s become clear that Democrats ignore downballot races at our peril. What happens in Florida or Texas never stays there―and the MAGA Republican on the ballot is as dangerous as anyone from those states.

On April 4th, Wisconsin is holding the biggest election of 2023―an election that will determine control of the Supreme Court in a state that will be at the center of the 2024 election. The Republicans nominated MAGA extremist Dan Kelly, who compared Social Security to slavery before he led Donald Trump’s plot to steal Wisconsin’s electoral votes with fake electors.

As I said in Grease―how low can you go?

Democrats, on the other hand, have Judge Janet Protasiewicz, who has never tried to steal an election and recognizes that Social Security works―period!

So grab your leather jackets and pomade, it’s time to sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na yippity dip de doom! It will be a night of laughs, nostalgia, and raising critical Get Out the Vote funds to defeat a MAGA maniac and give Wisconsin the Supreme Court it deserves!
