Fellow
American,

The pride
that patriotic Americans feel toward our country is unmatched.

I feel it
when I rise for the National Anthem. When I meet our heroes of
wars long ago, and those who wear the uniform today. And when I
watch those same heroes stand to offer the flag a firm salute.

There is
no greater symbol of American pride than our flag. It flew at
Yorktown. Survived the rockets' red glare at Fort McHenry. And
was raised atop Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima.

During
this year's National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C., I
want to ensure that every man, woman, and child lining
Constitution Avenue is waving an American flag.

But
first, we must secure enough donations to cover the cost of
thousands of hand-held American flags. I hope you'll help with
your gift of any amount so we can give a flag to every parade
attendee on Memorial Day!

Help
secure thousands of American flags!

As our
veterans and active duty troops make their way down Constitution
Avenue on May 29th, think how they'll feel if they see hundreds
of thousands of patriotic Americans smiling and PROUDLY waving
our flag.

It brings
a smile to my face to picture thousands of young children waving
the red, white, and blue, and shouting, "THANK YOU!" to all those
who've served our nation. More importantly, it shows that they
appreciate the sacrifices behind the meaning of the holiday.

This act
- which may seem small - will have a huge, and lasting, impact on
our American heroes. They deserve to see the gratitude and pride
that every parade attendee feels on Memorial Day 2023.

While the
National Memorial Day Parade is more than two months away, we
must order tens of thousands of American flags this month.

That
means we only have a couple of weeks to raise funds to pay for
these symbols of our country, the inspiration for which so many
have stood to fight.

Whether
you can join us in person for the parade or plan to watch on TV,
I hope you'll consider a gift of $25, $50, $75, $100 or more
today so we can secure tens of thousands hand-held American flags
and pass them out to every National Memorial Day Parade attendee
in May.

Help
secure thousands of American flags!

Thank you
for your support!
