To be blunt: Mark is facing a tough election. As we approach the first fundraising deadline of 2020, we’re asking for your help so we can start out strong.

Here are just a few reasons Mark needs your support this year:

1. The Trump campaign is determined to win Virginia. They’ve established the well-funded Trump Victory Initiative to help them do it — and they've already held over 80 events in the Commonwealth.


2. A battleground state poll shows Donald Trump WINNING Virginia in several scenarios. And he’s paying attention. He recently tweeted: “Republicans will win Virginia in 2020.”


3. Single donors can now give as much as $580,600 to support Donald Trump’s re-election. This agreement between a joint fundraising committee for the Trump campaign and the RNC intentionally disadvantages Democratic candidates. It’s especially worrying for Virginia Democrats like Mark who are already battling the Trump Victory Initiative.


4. The polling experts at FiveThirtyEight rate Virginia’s partisan lean as completely even (the only state in the country with that rating!), meaning this race could truly go either way.

This election isn’t a sure thing. We need to expand our reach — open more field offices, hire more staff, and organize more volunteers to make sure every voter across Virginia hears how Mark is fighting for them in the Senate.
