Last week was the 47th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized a woman's right to choose nationwide.
Under the Trump administration and his Supreme Court appointments, we've seen a rise in the number of proposed restrictions, bans and court cases across America that have made the future of abortion access less certain than ever.
Women's reproductive health care choices should not be up for debate. They should be up to the woman, and her health care provider.
I'm proud to have a 100% voting score supporting women's health initiatives from NARAL Pro-Choice America, and I'm proud to have earned the endorsement of both NARAL and Planned Parenthood Action. And I will continue to stand up for access to reproductive freedoms for all.
