John, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and anti-choice lawmakers are pushing their most extreme bill yet – a ban on abortions after 6 weeks, which is before most people even know they’re pregnant.

Floridians are being robbed of their freedom, health, and autonomy in front of our eyes. And with this latest bill, the devastating consequences go beyond state lines – affecting those in Alabama, Mississippi and other nearby states who would have relied on Florida for abortion access.

Anti-choice politicians won’t stop until abortion access is banned nationwide, so we can’t sit on the sidelines when we see these attacks growing on the state level. I refuse to.

John – Republicans at every level are weaponizing abortion access, putting the lives of countless people at risk for their own political gain – all the while pushing the narrative that they’re the “pro-life” party.

The GOP seems to have a loose interpretation of what our rights actually are, so let me make this clear: abortion is a fundamental right.

I’ll keep fighting to protect this right – both in Congress, and on the streets, alongside those most impacted by these attacks on bodily autonomy.
