The State of Readiness

According to a report by the Bush Institute and Texas 2036, by the time of the state's bicentennial in 13 years, over 70% of the jobs in Texas will require a postsecondary credential. But far too few Texas students will possess them. Too many Texas students don’t have the knowledge and skills to succeed in their next grade, much less in the workforce.
