Rep. Troy E. Nehls Holds Press Conference with Rep. Miller and Heritage Foundation to Ban TikTok Greetings! I wanted to take a moment to share with you a recap on what happened last week in Texas' 22nd District and the United States House of Representatives. This Week in Washington Rep. Troy E. Nehls Holds Press Conference with Rep. Miller and Heritage Foundation to Ban TikTok I was proud to be joined by Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15), along with the Heritage Foundation, Moms Against TikTok, the creator of Libs of TikTok, and others to demand the need for a nationwide ban on TikTok. We all know TikTok is targeting our children through harmful, addictive content and is a massive national security threat. Congress must protect our children from the Chinese Communist Party and prioritize their safety and well-being, because this White House won't. Watch my remarks HERE. Rep. Troy E. Nehls joins Tim Pool on TimCast to Discuss the Potential Arrest of President Trump This week, I joined Tim Pool on TimCast to discuss the potential arrest and indictment of former President Donald Trump. Alvin Bragg and the New York District Attorney's Office is on a partisan witch-hunt. It's obvious the Left is using Trump as a martyr because they're scared of him, and they're scared of the truth. Watch some of my remarks HERE. Rep. Troy E. Nehls Attends Judiciary and Oversight Joint Subcommittee Hearing on ATF's Assault on the Second Amendment This week, I attended the Judiciary and Oversight Joint Subcommittee Hearing where we discussed the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) recent rule to criminalize the possession of stabilizing braces for firearms. This rule would turn many lawful gunowners into criminals, unless they permanently remove and dispose of the stabilizing brace, turn in their firearm to an ATF office, destroy the firearm, or obtain a National Firearm Act registration. I am a proud cosponsor of a Congressional Review Act that would repeal this rule. This rule is unconstitutional, and Congress cannot allow it to stand. The Biden Administration has done nothing but attack our Second Amendment right. I will always fight to ensure the right to bear arms will not be infringed. Rep. Troy E. Nehls Votes in Favor of the Parents Bill of Rights Act This week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Parents Bill of Rights. This important legislation ensures that parents are the only ones who get to make decisions about their children's education. Parents have the right to know what is being taught in their children's school, see where their tax dollars are going in the school budget, and protect their child's privacy. Congress is putting the safety of our children first and letting the voices of parents be heard. Rep. Troy E. Nehls joins Fox News to Discuss a Ban on TikTok Rep. Troy E. Nehls Introduces the Let Experienced Pilots Fly Act of 2023 I am proud to introduce the Let Experienced Pilots Fly Act of 2023, a bill that would allow pilots to continue to operations until they reach the age of 67. Our country is experiencing a massive pilot shortage. Congress must prioritize the safety of airline travel and make sure that every measure is taken to ensure that every person flying makes it home to their families. Read more about the bill HERE. Rep.
