These complaints were politically motivated and aimed at tarnishing my professional legacy as a family doctor. It has been a difficult and trying time for me and my family, but I am grateful for the support and encouragement that so many Minnesotans have given me throughout this journey.
I could not have made it through without your support and encouragement. It is so critical that doctors (and all people) have free speech in this country; it is a bedrock I'm passionate about and will never back down from. I've always said, "if it can happen to me, it can happen to you too." There will be more to come in the weeks and months ahead, but for now - I am just grateful.
