Congress can put an end to uncertainty by passing the College for All Act.
Friend,
President Biden’s plan to cancel between $10,000 and $20,000 in student loans for most borrowers represents one of the most significant actions on the student debt crisis to date.
But conservatives have been quick to challenge it, pushing it all the way to the Supreme Court. Now, the Court’s decision has the potential to either ease the burden of student loans for tens of millions of Americans or reinvigorate the cycle of crushing debt that has stunted economic growth.
Congress can put an end to uncertainty by passing the College for All Act to erase student debt and make two- and four-year public colleges and universities tuition-free.
Student debt relief is critical to get our economy back on track. It would give tens of millions of Americans a fresh start, allowing them to buy homes, start businesses, and plan for the future. That’s why I proudly support the College for All Act. The bill would erase the existing $1.7 trillion in student debt through a tax on Wall Street, providing relief to millions of people and setting them on a path to success. And it would be an investment in America’s future by making two- and four-year public colleges and universities accessible to everyone.
Will you join me? Tell Congress: Pass the College for All Act.
In solidarity,
Ro
