Do you remember last year when lawmakers in Virginia attempted to remove the requirement that life support must be provided to babies born alive during a late-term abortion? This bill had the support of Democrats in the House of Delegates and Senate, and the vocal support Governor Ralph Northam. Thankfully we jumped into action, and the bill was defeated in committee. But we knew they weren’t going away. Prior to the 2020 elections, Democrats in Virginia are preparing an all-out assault on human life. Experts close to the situation say they will start by removing safeguards meant to ensure women actually give informed consent before getting an abortion and by allowing minors under the age of 16 to have an abortion without parental or guardian consent. Now it is up to us to act again! We must show them the vast majority of Americans do not share your radical position, and we will make our voices heard loud and clear come election time if they do not vote against HB980 and SB733 -- aimed to increase abortions in the state.

The Virginia House and Senate are voting soon on HB980 and SB733... And, if passed, these bills will: - Strip away basic health and safety requirements for abortion facilities
- Remove essential safeguards to ensure women actually give informed consent before getting an abortion
- Allow minors under the age of 16 no longer need parental or guardian consent to have an abortion
- No longer require women seeking abortions to receive an ultrasound.
- Would allow any “medical professionals”—even people who are not doctors—to perform abortions.
- Would eliminate medical health and safety guidelines and regulation over abortion clinics—even regulations that apply to all other surgical centers.
This is their clear attempt to increase abortion access in the state, no matter what the cost to unborn babies and the health of mothers. It’s time we become as bold as these pro-abortion Democrats. In Virginia and around the country!

Democrats are one step shy of their goal to remove the requirement that life support must be provided to babies born alive during a late-term abortion? Now, we are seeing similar bills popping up all over the country. It’s just shameful that in a state that gave birth to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and George Mason has representatives willing to support infanticide and abortion. It seems like the Left has gone mad over abortion. Their mantra used to be “safe, legal and rare”—which was tragic and wrong in its own right. But now the Left’s mantra is much worse: abortion at any time, for any reason, with no health and safety protections, right up until birth -- and beyond! We must stand up against this radical push to increase abortions. The two dangerous aims of these bills are equally evil and repulsive.
