More than 62,000 Oregonians face hunger In Oregon. During the COVID-19 public health emergency, the federal government expanded food assistance programs to help people feed themselves and their families. Those benefits have ended. Now, the statewide network of food banks and local food pantries that Oregon Food Bank supports are seeing more and more people coming to them for emergency food.
