My Fellow concerned American,
I never thought it would be me.
Iâd seen the news
headlines and the crazy videos of activist teachers talking about how they
indoctrinated students with ideas about sexuality and gender, against parents'
wishes and behind their backs…
But I never thought in a million years it
would happen to my family.
And then it did.
My 11-year-old daughter
went to the guidance counselor, after a death in our family, for help processing
that loss.
In a meeting that was supposed to help my
daughter manage her grief, her guidance counselor convinced her to begin
identifying as a boy at school.
She went into that office as my daughter and
left with a boyâs name asking to be called a âhe.â
It took just minutes.
All of this was done without my knowledge
– and even worse, the school told her to hide all of this from me.
So, Iâm suing Chico Unified School District with the help
of the Center for American Liberty – not for damages, or for emotional
distress, but to put an end to its âParental Secrecy Policyâ that directs teachers
and staff to hide a childâs âsocial transitionâ from parents.
Because when we win this
lawsuit, weâll set a precedent nationwide.
My daughter might have wanted to tell me about
her ânew identityâ right away – because Iâm her mother, she trusts me, and
she knows I love her unconditionally.
But her guidance counselor
discouraged her from talking to me about it.
She encouraged her to
âcome outâ to her teachers, her peers – everyone but me.
It was two months after the initial meeting by
the time I found out what was going on, and it wasnât because the school notified
me or because my daughter told me.
It was because my daughter told my mother who
then told me.
And thankfully we were able to put an end to
this.
My daughter is doing well. She goes by the
name I gave her, and knows she is a girl.
But I know we were the lucky ones.
I know that if the school had its way, my
daughter might be on medications and thinking about dangerous surgeries, changing
her body forever, putting her own health at risk.
And in my state, they
couldâve done all of it behind my back.
But Iâm not moving; Iâm fighting back!
Because the truth is, what starts in
California never stays here.
But I donât stand a chance without you.
Will you make a generous, tax-deductible donation of $35 or
more to my lawsuit today, and take a stand for American children and parental
rights?
Weâre up against an evil unlike anything Iâve
seen in my life – and it grows more powerful by the day.
But the truth is on our
side.
When
patriotic Americans come together, it doesnât matter who stands against us.
