If it feels like news about abortion and reproductive care is moving fast, that’s by design. Anti-choice legislators across the country continue to cause chaos and make it impossible to focus on the matters at hand by burying us in a deluge of constant horrifying news.

There is some good news buried in there: Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham recently signed a law that prohibits local municipalities and other public bodies from interfering with a person’s ability to access reproductive or gender-affirming health care services AND Nevada Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro introduced a constitutional amendment that could enshrine existing abortion rights in the state constitution, which would offer the highest level of state protection.
We need more prochoice leaders who will continue to fight for our rights to the reproductive care we need and deserve.
