Friends - this year is already flying by! I can hardly believe that one week from today is officially the end of the first quarter of 2023. During my time in Washington, DC, I've learned that the end of March means two things: first, that the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and second, that the first major fundraising deadline of the year has arrived. These end-of-quarter FEC deadlines are a key part of our federal campaign finance system, allowing for public reporting of funds and a level of transparency around political donations. In other words, they let everyone - from the press to our opponents - see exactly how our re-election campaign is doing. It’s really important to me that we show our strength in this first FEC report of the election cycle - especially since we have a newly announced extremist opponent who’s already gearing up for a fight next November. We’ve got an incredible team - you show me every day. But now is our chance to show the rest of the world, too. To do that, my team has set a goal of reaching 400 grassroots donors by the March 31st deadline. Will you make a donation of any amount right now to help get there?
