Hi Friend,
We’re excited to announce that we will have a special guest joining us for our next Page Turners book club [[link removed]] meeting. Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka, the author of our next read, Walking with Gorillas: The Journey of an African Wildlife Vet , will be tuning in to the meeting to discuss her new book!
Dr. Gladys is Uganda's first wildlife veterinarian and the Founder and Executive Director of Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) [[link removed]] , a longtime Population Connection partner. Featured in our latest magazine issue [[link removed]] , her memoir is a remarkable tale of her lifelong journey with animals and the founding of CTPH, which promotes the coexistence of humans and wildlife by improving the health and well-being of both.
The book club meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9th, at 2:00pm ET/11:00am PT.
Register for the next meeting here! [[link removed]]
