This week's WE ACT Updates stated that April's Membership Meeting will be April 7. This is incorrect. The Membership Meeting will be Saturday, April 8 from 10 am - 1 pm. Please see the corrected version below:
Join Us for Our April Membership Meeting
We have had to move our Candidates Forum for City Council District 9 to our May Membership Meeting, on Saturday, May 13.
Our April Membership Meeting will feature an update on our fight to get toxics out of personal care products and where we are at with our Beauty Inside Out campaign as well as a look at our rebranded workforce development program, WE ACT's Green Institute, creating pathways to green jobs for our community. It will be held in person on April 8 at the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge (454 West 155th Street, between St Nicholas & Amsterdam Avenues) from 10 am to 1 pm.
