1. The Oklahoma Supreme Court has upheld the state’s abortion ban that saves babies from abortions. Instead of striking down the measure, the state’s highest court clarified that abortions should be allow in extremely rare cases to save the life of the mother — something the pro-life movement has always supported.
2. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox signed H.B. 467 into law Wednesday, which will shut down all abortion clinics in the state by the start of 2024. Now that a major legislative victory has been secured, the Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) of Salt Lake City, Pro-Life Utah and Abortion-Free Utah are looking to expand pro-life legislation in the state by enacting Alternatives To Abortion (A2A) legislation and further regulate mail-order medicated abortion, the groups told the DCNF.
3. A Florida Senate committee advanced heartbeat legislation today that could save tens of thousands of unborn babies from abortion every year and make the state the next to ban abortions. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says he would sign the bill into law to protect women and unborn babies.
