#DataPrivacyDay is an opportunity to remember that everyone who uses student information has a responsibility to maintain the privacy and security of students' data.
Any vision for data use is incomplete without a plan to protect student privacy. Data is a powerful tool to guide decisionmaking, and its security must be prioritized. Clear privacy policy enables parents and school leaders to confidently use data to support students, while a lack of clear policy leaves decisionmakers in the dark and puts students at risk.
