John, with less two weeks til the Chicago mayoral election, I've gotten one question again and again:
"Why Brandon?"
Before I get too ahead of myself – these people are talking about Brandon Johnson, the Chicago mayor candidate I've been cheering on since day one. And the answer is always the same: because the city of Chicago and its people deserve a mayor they can count on.
And that's Brandon Johnson. But there's a more personal look into why I believe Brandon is the candidate to support in this race. Before I tell you more, will you split a donation to help Brandon's message reach people across Chicago? [[link removed]]

John, looking at this picture of little Delia and her siblings, I can't help but reflect.
My parents came to this country forty years ago for a better life, and believe me, they worked for it. Both of my parents worked multiple jobs and long hours, all while taking care of me and my siblings.
And it's because of my parents that the topic of protecting working families becomes very personal for me. Making sure that people like my parents, people like my husband, people like me have someone listening to their concerns – and actually doing something about it.
John, Chicago doesn't need a career politician who believes in taking away from our public schools more than he believes in a woman's right to choose.
Now, when the future of such a monumental city is at stake – one full of working people and their families – the people of Chicago need a leader who's going to deliver. But why Brandon?
As a former teacher, organizer, county commissioner, and father, Brandon Johnson has shown incredible commitment to protecting our working families and looking out for their best interests.
And he needs a strong coalition of grassroots support if he's going to beat out the opposition. With only 2 weeks til the election, John, it starts with you, and it starts TODAY – will you split a donation today? [[link removed]]
