What a difference a year makes. Last year, under Democratic leadership, we passed legislation to address some of the many challenges facing our nation, like access to affordable healthcare, finding commonsense solutions to the gun violence epidemic, and combating climate change.

This year, House Republicans have demonstrated they’re more interested in protecting billionaire tax cheats and defending conspiracy theorists than in passing legislation to better the lives of everyday Americans.
