Today is the day.

Tonight at 6:30, BYD will convene at The Douglass for its annual kickoff fundraiser, ringing in this most important of election years.

It's been a great privilege to serve as President of the Brooklyn Young Democrats over the last three years. We have achieved so much, but our potential going forward is even greater.

As I prepare to move on from the presidency in February, I am more confident than ever that young Democrats will steer Brooklyn and New York in a decidedly progressive direction. And even though my time as President of BYD is coming to an end, rest assured I will be right there with you.

I am incredibly honored and humbled that the Executive Board decided to award with me Young Democrat of the Year award. I hope you will join me for this special evening.
