Unfortunately, 2023 has been a tough fundraising year.

We emailed you before to let you know that we’ve raised less than one-sixth of what we had raised by this point last year, and heading into the end of the quarter, that figure is only getting worse.

As a nonprofit, the impact we’re able to make is directly dependent on the money we receive in donations. We have a chance to carry our momentum from 2022 forward into 2023 and 2024, but we need your help to raise the resources to do it.

John, we hate to send emails like this, but the New Pennsylvania Project is facing a critical fundraising shortfall.

So far this year, we’ve raised less than one-sixth as much as we did by this point last year.

The New Pennsylvania Project is one of the ONLY organizations conducting year-round, consistent voter registration and civic education. Our organizers have been registering voters in the communities we center across PA since January, including in the snow and rain - but we simply cannot keep doing this important work with less than a sixth of the budget.

It takes resources to register those who have historically been functionally and politically disenfranchised. Voter apathy is a serious problem in the Commonwealth, and we need your help to fix it!
