Friend, do you remember this moment?

With her vote that day, Senator Susan Collins cinched Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court.

Collins had the chance to stand up for _Roe v. Wade_. Instead, she cowed to GOP pressure to nominate a conservative, anti-choice judge and place _Roe v. Wade_ at risk.

Collins let her party line dictate her vote. That's not what Mainers want from their Senator.

Friend, I'm ready for change -- and I know Mainers are too. The 2020 elections are our chance to elect new leadership in Maine _and_ take back the Senate. But I'm going to need your help to do it.

Can you pitch in $10 or more to Democrat Sara Gideon's campaign to replace Collins and turn Maine blue? ( [link removed]

MAINE IS GEARING UP FOR A FIGHT -- WITH COLLINS' OPPONENT, SARA GIDEON, AT THE FOREFRONT.

Sara has been fighting for Mainers her entire career -- most recently as Maine's Speaker of the House. And in the Senate, shell fight hard to protect a woman's right to choose, to oppose the rising cost of prescription drugs, and to increase economic opportunity for all of us.

But victory in Maine is far from guaranteed. Collins will have the support of corporate super PACs and Mitch McConnell's dark-money machine. Heck, after she voted to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, she raked in the most funds in her entire career.

In order to win in Maine, well all have to play our part.

So, Im calling on grassroots supporters like you. Pitch in $10 or more to help elect Sara Gideon to the Senate in Maine. With your help, well turn the Senate blue in 2020. ( [link removed]

Thank you for being in this fight with me.

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
