There are so many reasons we’re thrilled to be taking our fight against bad information to Nevada, including its role as a key battleground state in the 2024 election.
Democrat Jacky Rosen is considered one of the most vulnerable Senators up for reelection this cycle. You can be sure that this race will be close — in 2022, Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto won by only 0.9%.
This race will also be vulnerable to the same kind of election misinformation and voter intimidation that we saw in Nevada in 2022, with claims of election tampering and voter fraud.
Opening our Nevada newsroom couldn’t come at a more critical time. But before we can go any further, we have to choose a name for it.
