Dear friend,
Everyone should have access to quality, affordable healthcare, regardless of economic background or medical history.
This week, we celebrate the 13 year anniversary of one of the most consequential pieces of legislation in our country's history — the Affordable Care Act.
While I was not serving in Congress when President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, I strongly support the goals of extending affordable health care to every American.
But friend, we live in much different times than we did 13 years ago. MAGA Republicans have talked for years about axing the Affordable Care Act — with no real health care plan to replace it.
I will always fight for the expansion of accessible and affordable health care for all — because healthcare is a right, not a privilege. But as I fight extremism from House Republicans, I’m asking for you to show your support on the anniversary of one of America’s greatest pieces of legislation — the passage of the Affordable Care Act.
Thank you,
Eric Swalwell
