Hello John,
In honor of the 2 million+ LGBTQ+ youth who exist in the United States, we rise up [[link removed]] and engage affirming communities across the country to show 2 million displays of public support.
Join us and show your support by wearing a Rise Up t-shirt, putting a yard sign in front of your house, a bumper sticker on your car, or a button on your favorite jacket.

BUY RISE UP MERCH HERE [[link removed]]
All of the proceeds from Rise Up [[link removed]] merchandise go toward creating safe and inclusive school environments for LGBTQ+ students.
Here are a couple of ways the dollars from each purchase are put into action:
Inclusive Programming for LGBTQ+ students: Each year we work hard to create comprehensive programs that engage and uplift LGBTQ+ young people at a time when they need it most.
Advocating for Supportive Policies: Our policy team puts in an incredible amount of work advocating for supportive and inclusive local and national government policies that protect and support LGBTQ+ students.
Supporting GLSEN Chapters: Our 41 chapters throughout the country provide on-the-ground support to ensure that the LGBTQ+ students in their local network have the resources they need to thrive.
Resources for Supportive Educators: Just one visibly supportive educator in a school can help LGBTQ+ students feel safer and more seen. GLSEN provides training and resources to educators for implementing a more inclusive curriculum.
We hope you will join us in Rising Up for LGBTQ+ Youth today!
In solidarity,
Melanie Willingham-Jaggers
